This is a McCoy Avionics MAC 1700V digital control/display unit (Nav/Com). It is a slide-in digital upgrade for King KX-170 / KX-175 series Nav/Com radios. It provides digital frequency displays, active/standby frequencies, memory channels, and push-button frequency transfer while using the existing radio hardware and tray.
