United Instruments Vertical Speed Indicator (VSI)

This is a standard 3-1/8" vertical speed indicator (also called a rate-of-climb indicator) manufactured by United Instruments of Wichita, Kansas (made in Japan). It displays the aircraft’s rate of climb or descent in feet per minute, with a range of 0–2,000 fpm. It is TSO C8b approved, weighs about 0.7 lbs, and connects to the aircraft’s static pressure system. These 7000-series units are common in general aviation aircraft.
Unless otherwise stated, all used airplane parts are sold as-removed and in the condition received. To the best of our knowledge, these parts were fully operational when removed.
