King Radio KA-42B ADF Antenna
King Radio KA-42B ADF Antenna
(P/N 071-1133-00, S/N 30038)
This is a combined loop/sense ADF (Automatic Direction Finder) antenna made by King Radio (Bendix/King). It is a low-profile, teardrop/brick-style antenna used with King KR-85, KR-86, and similar ADF receivers. It handles both the loop and sense functions, eliminating the need for a separate long-wire sense antenna. Weight is about 2.4 lbs; TSO C41b approved. Common on older general aviation aircraft equipped with ADF systems.
Unless otherwise stated, all used airplane parts are sold as-removed and in the condition received. To the best of our knowledge, these parts were fully operational when removed.
