It is TSO C4C Type I certified, weighs 1.8 lb, and was made by EDO-AIRE in Wichita, Kansas (serial A245AF on this unit). These were common primary or backup attitude instruments in light GA aircraft (Cessna, Piper, Beech, etc.) from the 1960s–1980s era.
